KLM reinvents boarding system

The airline announces the innovative new boarding procedure. With the new procedure, passengers get a boarding number at the gate. This number is based on their seat in the aircraft. The number ensures that passengers with a window seat board first, starting at the rear of the aircraft. They are followed by passengers seated in the midsection of the aircraft, after which the passengers with aisle seats are allowed to board.

 The airline said disable passengers and parent of babies will be allowed to board first.

 The airline confirmed it was testing the new procedure on only three flights and would look at expanding the boarding procedure to all flights.
